1. Argyle sports club formed for racing enthusiasts across the country 2 . The number of members will not exceed 100 unless agreed by members at the annual general meeting. 3. Each year an annual general meeting will be called by the club secretary. 4. This meeting must be called within 1 calendar month of the anniversary date of the club start-up (01.03.02) 5. Members shall be notified of the intended date and venue of the AGM at least 31 days prior to the event to allow time for any travel arrangements to be made. 6. A minimum of 5% of the members must attend for the meeting to be deemed valid. If the minimum attendance is not reached a new date must be set within 2 calendar months and all members informed. 7. The secretary of the club will remain in office until he either stands down or receives a vote of no confidence from 5 members of 5% of the members which ever is the minimum. 8. In the event of the secretary either standing down or receiving a vote of no confidence a meeting will be called within 31 days. 9. A new secretary can be voted in by 5% of the members or 5 members whichever is the minimum 10. The secretary is also to be treasurer of the club 11. Any member may request an alteration, amendment or addition to the constitution by either putting his request in writing or verbally at the AGM (to be recorded in the minutes) 12. Any such alteration etc must be agreed by a majority decision 13. Any perspective new members need to apply in writing to 19 Nevill Avenue, Hove BN3 7NB 14. Temporary membership is granted at the discretion of the club secretary. 15. All temporary memberships must be made permanent at the AGM. 16. A list of all temporary members will be circulated to full members prior to the AGM 17. All permanent members will be granted full membership at the AGM assuming there is no opposition from an existing member. 18. In the case of opposition to a temporary member by a permanent member the secretaries decision will be final 19. A minimum of 6 racing days shall be organized within each year. 20. In the event of membership demand exceeding the stated maximum as stated in item 2 any members not attending a minimum of 25% of the racing days will have their membership reviewed.
